Philosophy

Kramer+Marks Architects is a dedicated, socially responsible and experienced firm, focused on providing projects of value and integrity to our clients and their communities.

William E. Kramer founded Kramer+Marks Architects in 1977 after seventeen years of employment with a large architectural firm in the City of Philadelphia. George Marks joined the firm in 1980, which makes this firm one of the longest-lasting architectural relationships in the Philadelphia area. Since then, Kramer+Marks Architects has continued to grow and improve and has built a respected reputation within the profit, non-profit and developer communities and has positioned itself as a firm with a reputation for providing quality projects, on time and within budget. We provide strong service and strong design, thanks to a thorough review of our client's needs and careful implementation of our skills and experience.

The majority of our work is repeat business, with additional work from existing client referrals. Our strength as a firm is that we listen to our clients and are flexible to their needs.

Over 90% of all the projects Kramer+Marks Architects has worked on since 1977 have been built. This is an extraordinary record when you consider the times; a time period that wasn't always good for construction and architecture.

By becoming our client's "partner," we have built long-lasting, successful relationships by helping them realize their goals and objectives.

As a result, Kramer+Marks Architects has been recommended by dozens of Construction Managers, Contractors & Engineers. We believe this to be a tribute to our dedication to having a smooth-running project that meets the client's objectives.
