Kramer+Marks provides architectural services for The Statue of Liberty

Kramer + Marks Architects along with a team led by Kalimex Incorporated was commissioned to assist in assessment and design of the life safety issues and improvements associated with public's access to the crown viewing platform of the Statue of Liberty to allow for its reopening on July 4, 2009.  Improvements were successfully completed during the Spring of 2009 and allowed the crown to be reopened to the public on Independence Day 2009 for the first time since September 11, 2001.
