The Stratum on 36th Street
Location Philadelphia, PA
Client Trammell Crow Company

The Stratum provides off-campus student housing in the Drexel and U of P campus area.  It was a seven-story hotel constructed in 1880 that was recently used as residences for the Devine Tracy religious community.  Rooms and common areas on the upper 6 floors were upgraded, as well as additional handicap accessible units. The first two floors were also extensively renovated, including reconfiguring the kitchen and dining areas.  The main floor was renovated to provide new public spaces, as well as student amenities, which included a business center, exercise room, game room, TV lounge, tanning rooms, and student laundry.
